On a recent trip to Chicago, I discovered a bizarre world that I had not even known existed.
It's the world of Japanese "puzzle erasers". They are tiny vinyl erasers in the shape of... well, just about anything! Of course, many of them are kawaii ("cute") animal styled, but they also represent food, vehicles - the variety is astonishing. Their name comes from the fact you can pull them apart and reassemble all the little bits they are made of.
At only $1 a piece, they're pretty collectible, too!
