I met Lara Aiken and Paul Schultz at FanExpo. Lara’s papier mache stackables (above) jumped out at me. Their beady little eyes, their mischievous grins. My kind of art. The uber-creative couple head up Jaded Dragon Studios in Burlington, where they create prints, cards, sculptures and more.
We’ve now got some of their amazing Zombies vs. Schoolgirls (figures and mini-comics) Christmas cards, candles, and sculptures in the shop. Plus, their great graphic novel/children’s book “Beware of Frog.” Awesome stuff by awesome people.
